Here are we now and our "Golden Mainz" Rita , a real " Mainz-Mombacher" Girl ( Meenz-Mumbacher) (1939) is a Legal Secretary. Shortly after our marriage in 1959 she stayed home to take care of our growing family, me and everything else around the house.I am Wolfgang, and was born in Jena (1936). Living in "Mainz" for 45 years I call myself a real "Mainzer", especially as I been told that I speak a perfect Mainzer Dialect. I came to Mainz via Heidenheim, Zwiesel (Staatl. Glasfachschule). I'm an Electronic engineer and worked till my retirement (1996) at a large Industrial company as Manager of the "Electronic and Communications technique" Department. Now I suffer under the well known "retirees stress" and I'm my wifes gofer. |
